Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of suretyseven.com and the associated web application, portals and APIs (together, the “Platform”) operated by Surety Seven Technology Private Limited (“Surety Seven”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account, signing in or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

If your organization has signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement prevails over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

The Platform is business software that supports the surety bond lifecycle, including onboarding, underwriting, approvals, issuance, amendments, claims, reinsurance and reporting, for insurers, intermediaries, contractors (principals), beneficiaries and their teams.

Surety Seven is a technology provider. We are not an insurer, insurance intermediary or financial adviser, and we do not solicit insurance. Decisions to underwrite, price, issue, amend or pay a claim on any bond are made solely by the relevant insurer or counterparty, not by us.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
• Accounts may be created by us or by an administrator of your organization, who controls your role and access.
• You must provide accurate, complete and current information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password, one-time passwords and API credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@suretyseven.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You retain ownership of the information and documents you or your organization submit to the Platform (“Your Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to provide, secure and support the Platform and as directed by you, including sharing it with the insurers, beneficiaries and other counterparties involved in a transaction.

You represent that you have all rights, consents and authorizations needed to submit Your Content, including personal data of directors, promoters, signatories and other individuals, and that Your Content is accurate and not misleading. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

You may optionally connect a Google account so that emails you send from the Platform are delivered from your own Gmail address. By connecting, you authorize us to send emails on your behalf when you (or a workflow you start) initiate them. We do not read your mailbox.

You are responsible for the content and recipients of emails sent through your connected account and for complying with Google’s terms of service. You can disconnect at any time from your profile or from your Google account settings. Our use of Google user data is described in Section 4 of our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• submit false, forged or misleading information or documents;
• access data, organizations or features you are not authorized to access;
• probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Platform, or bypass any security, rate-limiting or access-control measure;
• upload malware or interfere with the operation of the Platform;
• scrape, copy, resell or commercially exploit the Platform or data obtained from it, except as permitted by your agreement with us;
• reverse engineer the Platform, except to the extent permitted by law;
• send spam or unlawful communications through the Platform; or
• use the Platform in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

If we issue you API credentials, you must keep them secret, use them only for your organization’s integration, and comply with any usage limits and instructions we communicate to you. We may rotate, suspend or revoke credentials to protect the Platform or its users.

The Platform integrates third-party services, including business and credit information providers, electronic signature, messaging and AI services. Third-party data is supplied by those providers and may be incomplete or out of date, and your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or data that we do not control.

Reports, ratings, risk scores, market analysis and AI-generated content produced by the Platform are tools to support your own judgment. They are provided for information only, may contain errors, and are not legal, financial, credit or insurance advice, nor a guarantee that any bond will be issued or any claim paid. You should verify important information before relying on it.

Paid features are charged as set out in your order, quotation or agreement with us, plus applicable taxes. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. We may suspend paid features for overdue amounts after giving notice.

The Platform, including its software, design, templates, trademarks and documentation, is owned by Surety Seven or its licensors and is protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Platform for your internal business purposes. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

Each party will protect the other’s non-public business information with reasonable care, use it only for the purposes of these Terms, and disclose it only to those who need to know it and are bound by similar obligations, or where required by law.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Platform or other users, and will give notice where reasonably practicable. On termination, your right to use the Platform ends; we will handle Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy and any agreement with your organization. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Surety Seven will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising out of or relating to the Platform. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Platform will not exceed the fees you paid us for the Platform in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You will indemnify and hold harmless Surety Seven and its officers, employees and agents from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any dispute resolution clause in a written agreement with your organization, the courts at New Delhi, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Platform before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any written agreement with your organization, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Platform. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
